MTV’s supernatural teen drama will soon air its final 10 episodes, and almost every original cast member is returning for the farewell. That’s right ladies and gentlemen, Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) is returning to Beacon Hills for the final curtain call along with Jackson (Colton Haynes), Peter (Ian Bohen), and (more importantly) much more Stiles (Dylan O’Brien)! Unfortunately, Isaac (Daniel Sharman) won’t be back, but we still have more characters.

Also, Tyler Posey and Linden Ashby both got a chance to direct an episode, and everyone says their episodes are the best ones!

Teen Wolf landed the coveted Hall H panel this year, and the cast members waxed poetic about their time with one another over the last seven years, bringing tears to many of our eyes *sniffs*. Audience members even got a look at some cast member audition tapes, which were both hilarious and also a testament to how much these actors have grown.

“Whoever thought a show called Teen Wolf would make it to 100 episodes?” asks producer Jeff Davis. Perhaps that’s a question we all asked ourselves at some point, but alas, here we are.

Throughout the shows six seasons, we’ve seen a whole host of mythical creatures and legends land in Beacon Hills. But the thing that keeps the fans watching is the relationship between the characters. Scott and Stiles will always have a special place in our hearts, and the cast teased that we would get to see the electric banter between Stiles and Derek again. It’s going to be hard to say goodbye to these characters, but it’s even harder for the cast.

“The show means a lot… I view it as a member of my life. It’s like a child that I raised.” ~Tyler posey

The final season of Teen Wolf definitely pays homage to the fans and to the history of the show, but the story promises to be just as satisfying. The theme of the final season is fear and how each character responds to fear with the new threats they face, but it’s also about change. Scott and the rest of his class are off to college, and these friends must make plans for the future and learn to say goodbye.
