Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan is an Action-RPG game developing by the Kiro’o Games studio, based in Cameroon. The ambition of this “African-Fantasy” game is to bring an innovation in the domain of Action-RPG. The Gameplay is inspired by the “Tales of” series. It wants to be very dynamic and more creative. Story Pitch

In the game, you will take the role of Enzo Kori-Odan, the Prince of Zama who suffers a coup d’état from his brother in-law on the day of his coronation and marriage with Erine Evou. Exiled, you will go round the world with Erine in search of support. You will need to reunite your Aurionic Heritage to retrieve the throne.

18Game’s functionalities

As you probably see in the previous combo video, the game unfolds in horizontal scrolling but with a vertical freedom of movements (just as in the former Beat them all) in the exploration phase. Therefore you will be able to: walk, run, jump, climb, feed your characters according to their feeding preferences in order to make them develop faster, etc.

In combat phase, you have:

  • Strategic and epic real time combats (our gameplay is a combination of both the dynamism of real time and the strategy necessary with rounds)
  • Face the enemies with Enzo and Erine’s support
  • Gather your legacy, fuse aurions to create new ones (several aurionic states provided), etc.

Why African-Fantasy?

Aurion is based on Kiro’o Tales, a new videoludic genre inspired by African culture. It consists to explore African cultural resources (values, traditions, etc.) in order to create fantastic worlds. A rich color universe, a game with twists and turns; a game full of existential values ​​and action await you.

Kiro’o Team

Kiro’o Games starts to develop Aurion in December 2013. However, the Team is working on the project since 2003. More than twenty young Cameroonians constitute the Team and are determined to achieve their passion. They hope that Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan, their first game, will be a great success. But before being a success, Aurion should follow some steps. Its development is still going on and the Team expect to release it soon (before the end of the second trimester 2015).
