Comic creator, filmmaker and nerd activist Che Grayson, gave a profound TED talk earlier this Summer in New York City about the intersection of social justice and how it relates to her interests in Harry Potter fandom and Marvel comic books.
The self-declared nerd also provided statistical data about the thousands upon thousands of hate crimes committed against marginalized people. Giving a TED talk is one of the most impressive and yet daunting experiences one can have, yet Che Greyson pulls this off with ease and gives a poignant take on her perspective from the lens of a black girl nerd.
