“A young woman embarks on a mission to rescue her abducted father from the strange forces that took him from their home”

In the tradition of films like Alien, T2: Judgement day, and in the spirit of pulp sci-fi horror, this film written and to be directed by Tony Sebastian Ukpo, is seeking to raise funds with the help of the public and fans of the genre on Kickstarter. The film also takes inspiration from video games such as the Metroid series.

A true independent project with an ambitious goal of £310,000 (About $500,000), which is small compared to studio standards but still out of reach for most indie filmmakers without influence or fan currency of the likes of similarly ambitious Kickstarter projects from Zach Braff or projects like the Veronica Mars movie. The project has already attracted actors Tara Platt and Yuri Lowenthal of voice actor fame in shows such as Naruto, Ben 10 and countless video games, as well as live action roles in films like the Halle Berry starring The Call, and seeks to attach stars such as Ashley Johnson, Bruce Campbell, Samuel L Jackson and Sigourney Weaver among others should they hit the required funding goal.
