With Mother’s Day on the horizon, Gabrielle Union took over New York City yesterday to promote her upcoming film that celebrates the power of motherhood, Breaking In. In partnership with Twitter’s multicultural ERG, the Twitter Blackbirds, the stunning starlet hosted a private screening and Q&A of the film at the Bryant Park Screening room. The Q&A was moderated by Twitter Blackbird, Elizabeth Duke, and covered a range of topics, from the film’s focus on female empowerment to Gabrielle’s preparation for the role.

Gabrielle Union also celebrated women in the community with a special appearance at New York & Company in Manhattan.
Lucky shoppers were treated to free outfits from Gabrielle’s New York & Co collection, as well as complimentary custom makeovers. The event also included music from the marquee DJ, refreshments, and an intimate meet-and-greet with Gabrielle.
