The sequel to Happy Death Day, the Blumhouse/Universal Pictures film Happy Death Day 2U is back to terrify us once again in theaters February 13th. BGN sat down with the cast and crew to discuss everything from bizarre timelines, the infamous desk and what exactly is Carter’s major?
As it turns out as revealed by filmmaker Christopher Landon, in order to recreate the same day, scenes from the first film were seamlessly dropped into the sequel to help match which he says is a bit of an easter egg for the movie. Collegian Tree Gelbman wakes up in horror to learn that she’s stuck in a parallel universe. Her boyfriend Carter is now with someone else, and her friends and fellow students seem to be completely different versions of themselves. When Tree discovers that Carter’s roommate has been altering time, she finds herself once again the target of a masked killer.
