Marvel Studios Unveils Trailer for ‘Moon Knight,’ Starring Oscar Isaac

Today Marvel Studios unveiled the trailer for its latest series, Moon Knight, debuting the first MCU trailer of the new year.

The series Moon Knight stars Oscar Isaac as Marc Spector, an ex-soldier with a profound case of dissociative identity disorder that manifests as fully distinct individuals. He becomes the conduit for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu, which further exacerbates Marc’s anxiety over his mental illness.

The introduction of Moon Knight brings a level of inclusivity for mental health conditions, as the character himself suffers from multiple personality disorder and alter egos. His introduction to the Marvel Universe could mean some trouble for your favorite heroes. Moon Knight also has excellent martial arts abilities alongside increased strength.

We have to say, we’re pretty fond of Isaac’s English accent in this too.

Moon Knight will be produced by Jeremy Slater, who co-created Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy. The series was first announced by Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige during D23 in August last year, along with Ms. Marvel.

Moon Knight premieres March 30 on Disney+.
