Each week, Marvel surprises these young heroes, who have dedicated themselves to performing selfless acts of bravery, kindness and betterment, by welcoming them into Marvel’s Hero Project, inspiring viewers of all ages.
Next week Jayera’s episode will be featured on the series. To give you some background and insight on Jayera Griffin:
Jayera Griffin Day is an annual event for a close-knit suburb just outside of Chicago. It’s where a young woman has been working to level the playing field for those in her neighborhood who could use support in hard financial times.
Her community service has been held as the benchmark of humanitarianism in her town. Everyone knows Jayera: the girl who fundraises for Free Wash Day, where neighbors can clean their clothes for free. The girl who holds pop-up “pay what you can” shops to spread opportunity a little more evenly across her town. Jayera has the unique ability to see the potential in everyone, and her work has made it possible for that potential to be reached. That’s why Marvel is recognizing her incredible work by making her a Super Hero, and welcoming her into Marvel’s Hero Project.
Here is an exclusive clip of Jayera’s episode featuring her first Free Wash Day, where everyone in the community could clean their clothes for free and be able to put their best foot forward in life.
Jayera’s episode will be streaming on Disney+ Friday, January 3rd.
