At today’s D23 live-action movies presentation, Director of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Rian Johnson, surprised fans with on-stage appearances by cast members Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro. Kathleen Kennedy remained in the United Kingdom on the set of the Han Solo film.
Johnson spoke about his experience filming the movie, showing photographs from behind the scenes. One of which is of Kelly Marie Tran’s Rose and John Boyega’s Finn in Imperial uniforms. I wonder if this has anything to do with their secret mission together. Of the movie, Hamill said there would be a lot of unexpected elements. Boyega said to expect that Finn would have “formidable opponent” hinting at a possible showdown with Phasma. After all, he did throw her into a trash compactor so I get it. They ended with the debut of a new behind-the-scenes look at Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
