Continuing the trend of surprise of early morning trailers, Netflix gifted us with a new trailer for Bright. Will Smith and Joel Edgerton bring their action A-game to a bold new action-thriller from director David Ayer (End of Watch/Training Day). Bright follows the story of two LAPD police officers played by Smith (Officer Ward) and Edgerton (Officer Jakoby) who form an unlikely duo working to keep the mean streets of Los Angeles safe from a sinister underworld filled with gang violence and dark forces at work. Half police drama half Lord of the Rings epic Bright takes place on an alternate Earth where humans and fairytale creatures coexist.
Ward a human and Jakoby an Orc, embark on a routine patrol night, only to discover an ancient, but powerful artifact, a magic wand, that was thought to be destroyed, and encounter a darkness that will ultimately alter the future and their world as they know it.
