Renée Elise Goldsberry spills the tea on EduHam, a component of Hamilton: The Musical that gives students at Title 1 schools an opportunity to perform and prepare presentations about spoken word, poetry,  and singing about one point in history on things that they love.

Goldsberry is taking this program one step further to broaden EduHam to include the voices of people of color from people in history like Phillis Wheatley and other voices that weren’t included in Hamilton: The Musical.  It’s currently in the beginning stages per Goldsberry, and she’s very excited about it. Listen to our one-on-one interview with Tony award-winning actress scheduled to appear in the upcoming film version of the popular musical premiering on Disney+ July 3rd.
