BGN Comic Review: DC House of Horror #1

Spread the love

Holiday comics have been a staple for a long time. I always looked forward to the DC Halloween issues when I was a kid, especially with characters like The Specter and John Constantine.

This volume of stories have the same creepy feel I look for with modern twists. Here is the line up of stories in DC House of Horror #1:

DC HOUSE OF HORROR

I was excited to see Mary San Giovanni listed in the credits, a notable horror author. Mary’s contribution to the volume is Mans World. A story about a group of young women who summon a force that possesses one of their group with chilling results.

My second favorite story was Bump In The Night which shows a different take on Jonathan and Martha Kent’s alien encounter.

All of DC’s big hitters are in this book: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Harley, Green Arrow and a twisted little tale staring Billy Batson.

A nice little volume to enjoy on Halloween.
