One of the most overlooked entries in one of the most overlooked fighting game series will be getting a port this year. Samurai Shodown V Special comes to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. There is no word on the actual release date, unfortunately. Samurai Shodown V Special originally released in 1995 for arcades and the Neo Geo. Like Mortal Kombat and Killer Instinct, this is a very violent game, maybe even more so. Like MK, players can perform bloody finishing moves on the opponent. You’ll be berated with bloody showers and dismemberment. SNK’s katana blade fighter is an underrated gem with a cult following that fell off in recent years.
