Totally agree that Connie not responding to Steven’s text for a month
was wrong of her but I don’t get the sense that the writers were trying
to quick fix their relationship. It feels to me more like they were
representing how relationships play out sometimes. It’s not unusual for
people who are generally decent to do something inconsiderate when faced with
an emotional hardship they don’t really know how to deal with. The
typical reaction is avoidance and I think that’s what the writers were
showing. I could definitely be wrong but this show has a pretty great
track record of depicting relationships realistically. As a result,
characters are gonna make bad decisions sometimes.

That’s a somber conclusion that i don’t think too many people really thought about. i guess most people thought they just let bygones be bygones, and just try to move on from that. they both kind of hurt each other, but in this sense, it does seem to be imbalanced. maybe, and hopefully, this might be revisited and maybe resolved. i liked having them make up and all, but for them to fully move on, something like this should be resolved.
