From filmmaker Yaw Agyapong, who directed the horror feature The Birth of Deceit. To date, The Birth of Deceit has received 16 Official Selections across the country, 2 Best Narrative Feature Wins, and various Nominations including Best Director and Screenplay at the American Black Film Festival.
Agyapong has written, directed, and filmed the first 30 minutes of his next feature film The Cure Game.
In the film, two families will face a new world of horrors as they make their way into a chaotic and dangerous city affected by a pandemic to save a family member. With one coming from the inner city and the other from the suburbs, their vastly different backgrounds will aid in their common fight for survival.
The film is scheduled for release Fall 2021.
