BGN junior reporter Jayla Lavender Nicholas interviews the cast and crew of the 20th Century Fox film The Kid Who Would Be King. From tales of inspiration of movies like ET from writer/director Joe Cornish to a descriptive landscape of the scenery from actors Louis Ashbourne Serkis and Rhianna Doris, these interviews are entertaining to watch. And let us not forget the legendary Sir Patrick Stewart speaking to little Jayla about his experience working on set and enchanted by a little CGI magic!
Old school magic meets the modern world in the epic adventure The Kid Who Would Be King. Alex (Ashbourne Serkis) thinks he’s just another nobody until he stumbles upon the mythical Sword in the Stone, Excalibur. Now, he must unite his friends and enemies into a band of knights and, together with the legendary wizard Merlin (Stewart), take on the wicked enchantress Morgana (Ferguson). With the future at stake, Alex must become the great leader he never dreamed he could be.
The Kid Who Would Be King is currently playing in theaters.
