Monica is slowly piecing the events of the past back together and wakes up in a hospital room. She goes out to the lobby and finds that there are others in a panic. A doctor mentions that they are all coming back. Monica searches for a doctor to tell her where the patient was from the room she woke up in. She finally bumps into Dr. Highland (Lana Young) who pieces together that Monica had disappeared and Maria Rambeau, Monica’s mother, had died three years ago. Two years after Monica mysteriously disappeared.

BABY! They not playing with us here. We now find out that Maria Rambeau died from cancer when Monica was blimped from the world. So many emotions!

At the S.W.O.R.D. (Sentient Weapon Observation Response Division) Headquarters, Captain Monica Rambeau goes back to work but finds her badge doesn’t work. Luckily Director Tyler Hayward (Josh Stamberg) is there to catch Monica up on what has happened since The Blip. A good portion of his team was lost and Monica is the first back to get things done. Tyler informs her that Monica is grounded to terrestrials missions only due to the guidelines her mom set in place. Maria Rambeau happened to be a key member that built up S.W.O.R.D. The FBI needs help with a missing person’s mission and Tyler is assigning Monica to the situation.

Monica meets Agent James E. Woo (Randall Park) outside of the sign for Westview, New Jersey. Agent James informs her that a witness of his seems to have disappeared and while Agent James searched for information, he came with a couple of problems: no one knew the witness, and law enforcement, that is literally standing in front of the Westview sign; are adamant that the place doesn’t exist. When Monica asks where the sheriff is from, he says Eastview. Agent James can’t call within the city and everyone around it doesn’t seem to remember Westview. He also can’t get into the city itself. Monica questions why she and James are able to recollect Westview then they are both surprised when her drone disappears within city lines. When Monica checks the drone’s disappearance, she gets sucked into the force field.

Twenty-four hours later, Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings) finds herself in the back of a truck with people of various fields like nuclear biology, artificial intelligence, and chemical engineering. You should remember Darcy from being an astrophysics intern in the Thor movies. Well, now she is Doctor Lewis with her own gear that is set up on a base camp outside of Westview. She questions what data the drones are bringing but clearly is nothing. All forms of the military are on the base too. Her assessment shows there is a lot of Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation that is safe for now. Darcy requests that an old TV is brought out. Smart girl.

Tyler has agent Franklin (Zac Henry), in a hazmat suit, go through the sewers to explore the town and find Monica. James informs Tyler that he’s not confident on this mission due to their lack of knowledge on the inside situation. While Tyler waits for a useful visual, Darcy brings up a visual of the WandaVision show on the old school TV. Everyone is shocked at the feed she is getting and she is quite certain that Vision is dead but is surprised he’s on screen. Tyler asks her how is this happening which she explains that within the CMBR there was an intertwined broadcasting frequency and had someone pick a vintage TV that was able to pick up the show. Their theory is that the universe created an Avengers TV show. Tyler gets a ride to S.W.O.R.D. headquarters and demands that they never stop recording. Now we know who was watching and taking notes in the first episode.

James has a team watching the footage and identifying who the other people are. The team is able to find the true identities of who the cast members are. Darcy finally sees footage of Monica and James and is shocked by Monica’s behavior on the show. Darcy has an idea to transmit a message to the radio that is in Wanda’s kitchen. The two are given info on the drone within the city. It has changed looks and is colorized. While they prepare for the radio message, Darcy notices a change in the show and Monica’s part. James does his best to get his message out but it doesn’t show on the screen that Darcy is watching so they think the plan failed.

Agent Franklin is still in the sewers and finally crosses over. However, he loses his attachment which changes into a rope and he is now in a beekeeper suit. He comes up out of the sewer and sees Wanda and VIsion. The show is finally in the 70s. James and Darcy are watching each wonderful moment of the birth of twins. They both are shocked about Monica’s blurt on Vision then she disappears. Darcy rewinds on her laptop footage and they realize someone is censoring the broadcast. An alarm goes off warning of a boundary breach. The two run to check it out. We, however, continue watching the moment Wanda questions Monica of who she is. Wanda accuses Monica of being a stranger and outsider that is trespassing then tells Monica she wants her to leave. She magically pushes Monica through walls, brick fences, and outside the city limits.

Wanda is surprised by what she did but magically fixes everything before turning to her babies just before Vision comes in and questions where Geraldine is aka Monica.  Monica lands outside the base camp and is immediately surrounded. Wanda tells Vision that Geraldine left then turns to look at him. Vision looks like a zombie! His head is crushed from where Thanos took his stone. Clearly, Wanda’s fantasy has disappeared because for a brief moment she sees zombie Vision but then he’s back to his colorful self. Vision suggests that they move but Wanda tells him that they can’t, this is their home, and she has everything in control.

Well, clearly she has gone mad.

Monica is getting checked on when James and Darcy arrive. She is able to state that it is all Wanda. Wanda picks up one of her sons and asks Vision what they should watch tonight. For a moment we see Vision’s smile falter but he brings it back up then sits down next to Wanda with their other son in hand.

Clearly, Wanda is having a difficult time dealing with the deaths of her brother and her lover, Vision. She is magically forcing Vision’s corpse to act out everything. That is my theory. The view of Vision’s body is just terrifying for me. I’m not 100% sure of S.W.O.R.D.’s work and mission, but I don’t trust the government’s meddling. It hasn’t always turned out the best for our heroes. I am happy to see Darcy again. Our silly little girl is now a doctor within her field and she is holding it down! Let’s not forget that the identities of the townspeople in the WandaVision show are available. I can’t wait until we find out more.

WandaVision is currently streaming on Disney+
