Juneteenth is a day that signifies freedom, triumph, and possibilities; it marks a crucial step towards a better, more equitable world for future generations of Black children – a mission that resonates just as strongly today. The network states that they are committed to the promise and continual pursuit of true freedom for all.

Cartoon Network will continue the social conversation and commitment to diverse storytelling on Saturday, June 20 with a Miss Juneteenth social post spotlighting Jessica from Craig of the Creek, Bumblebee from DC Super Hero Girls, and Kiki from Steven Universe. Plus, showcase commissioned Black beauty art by artists from all over the world. Some of those artists include: Dapo Adeola , Nicholle Kobi, Vashti Harrison, and more.
