HBO is dropping another must-watch documentary short that’s sure to spark conversation. The Devil Is Busy premieres Tuesday, September 23, from 9:00–9:30 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will also stream on Max.

Directed by Emmy® winner Geeta Gandbhir (Eyes on the Prize, Black and Missing) and Christalyn Hampton, with executive production from award-winning journalist Soledad O’Brien (Black and Missing), this latest HBO Original delivers the kind of powerful storytelling that keeps us coming back for more.

Filmed in cinéma vérité style, The Devil Is Busy captures the meticulous safety measures Tracii and her team take every single day: sweeping the grounds for intruders, briefing guards to escort patients safely inside, assigning numbers to protect client anonymity, and — perhaps most importantly — offering compassion to those navigating a hostile landscape. Tracii also opens up about her personal story and what drives her to do this critical work, even as she faces off against protestors outside the clinic’s doors. Her mission? Protecting patients seeking abortions, along with those coming in for preventive screenings, checkups, and other reproductive healthcare — in a climate of new restrictions, constant protests, and daily threats.
