Pixar is hopping into 2026 with one of its most ambitious animated ensembles yet. Hoppers, the upcoming comedy adventure from director Daniel Chong (We Bare Bears) and producer Nicole Paradis Grindle (Incredibles 2), boasts a stacked voice cast that reads like a who’s who of comedy, animation royalty, and Hollywood icons.

The film’s newly announced lineup features Meryl Streep as the Insect Queen, Dave Franco as Titus, Kathy Najimy as Dr. Sam, Eduardo Franco as Loaf, Melissa Villaseñor as Ellen, Ego Nwodim as the Fish Queen, Vanessa Bayer as Diane, Sam Richardson as Conner, Aparna Nancherla as Nisha, Nichole Sakura as the Reptile Queens, Isiah Whitlock Jr. as the Bird King, Steve Purcell as the Amphibian King, Karen Huie as Grandma Tanaka, and Tom Law as Tom Lizard.

They join previously announced cast members Piper Curda as Mabel, Bobby Moynihan as King George, and Jon Hamm as Mayor Jerry rounding out an ensemble that promises both comedic punch and emotional resonance.

“We have assembled a legendary cast for Hoppers, and the voice talent really gave the film all they had,” Chong and Grindle shared. “Be it uproarious humor, heartfelt emotion, or crazy animal noises, they delivered beyond our expectations.”

The film’s first trailer gives audiences a closer look at its vibrant world, introducing Mabel, a young animal lover who gains access to a groundbreaking technology that allows her to “hop” her consciousness into a robotic beaver. For the first time, she can communicate directly with animals and what she uncovers is a hilariously chaotic ecosystem filled with secrets, politics, and interspecies drama.

At the center of the pond is King George, voiced by Moynihan, a lovable, larger-than-life beaver whose optimism makes him an instant scene-stealer. But things get complicated thanks to Mayor Jerry (Hamm), a slick politician running for reelection who just can’t seem to get a handle on Mabel or the wild new world she’s opened.
