Now that we have a dead body, we got to figure things out. Bree’s father has seemed to forgotten his ex’s birthday, and Bree is not ready for school. Through the news, she finds out that Ronny is dead. Rumors of how he passed swirl around. A mysterious caller pushes for Bree to call her mom on her 40th birthday. John doesn’t seem to know about the birthday because he is concerned about the whole dead rugby player thing. Bree won’t open up to him about what she has on her mind. Amber gives Olivia the cold shoulder about her hanging out with Ronny and not telling her about the break-up with Donte. Olivia attempts to be assertive about not having to inform Amber about everything.

In class, the headmaster informs everyone of Ronny’s passing and calls Olivia to come with him. Kitty sends her a text to be home by 12:00 p.m. That has to be code for something. In the headmaster’s office, detectives are waiting to question her about Ronny. Frankly, no minor should be questioned like that in my opinion. Mika gets the clear to sit with Rex and Amber at lunch yet refuses to talk to Kitty. DGM meets up to discuss what their next moves will be. Bree, Olivia, and Margot leave Kitty stating that this is too weird and dangerous now. Olivia finds out that people are saying she is easy. Must be hard getting kicked out of the popular crowd. Bree’s dad cancelled, again, but Shane is available after school. Kitty takes the chance to fence with Dante.

Get Even

Mika and Olivia bump into each other at what seems like an impromptu vigil for Ronny. Olivia apologizes to Amber for making a stupid decision. It works. Amber takes her back in. Bree sets up Shane by having him in her room when her dad comes home. This is not the best way to get attention. Dad can’t even stick around to reprimand her; work calls. Ronny’s death is now a murder investigation, and DGM is the main suspect. The girls get together at a barely attended movie theater to discuss being framed. New burner phones are supplied by Margot, and Bree hands over the flash drive with the contents of Ronny’s hard drive. At home, Bree finds John waiting for her. She apologizes to him for her behavior and gives a brief reason. Margot finds something suspicious on the drive and informs DGM that Coach Creed was paying Ronny $500 bucks monthly, except for this month, right before Ronny was killed. How convenient that Coach Creed pulls up to the school as he is being discussed. Didn’t the girls take him out though? Suspicious that he is back.

It’s definitely a red herring. While Coach Creed may be a bully, he probably isn’t the killer. One of the students did it. That’s my bet.
