Today Idris Elba announced on his Instagram page that he will star in the next Sonic The Hedgehog film with the following post below:
Elba will voice the popular video game character Knuckles. Knuckles is known as Sonic’s rival and, later, friend. Both characters have appeared in dozens of games. No word yet on Paramount’s release date of the film, but we’re excited Idris is part of the project.
