Joy Victoria is a 16-year-old Los Angeles, California-based Journalist, and Actress.
She hosts an online talk show titled ”MyAngle with Joy Victoria” that welcomes professionals in the entertainment industry to have in-depth discussions about their careers, current events, opinions, and angles on a range of subjects. Joy’s goal is to bring substance to media as a young Black woman. She wants her audience to always leave with something after viewing her show, whether that something is inspiration, motivation, education, knowledge, or an uplifted-joyous spirit. With each guest, Joy dives deep into the powerful stories they have to share, pulling out their opinions, emotions, perspectives, and various truths. It is her strive to create a positive environment full of learning, where everyone’s voice matters.
In addition to her talk show, Joy runs a blog called MyAngleTalk.com which highlights stories in pop culture, entertainment, and positive media.
“I’ve seen a lot of stories, I’ve seen addiction, I’ve experienced losing my loved ones early in life, I’ve seen different cultures, and I think these are some of the things that sparked my interest to want to know ‘Why?’ Journalism and Acting is not only my career, but it is who I am as a person… I’m a storyteller who helps others tell their stories.” says Joy Victoria
Joy Victoria studies acting and film at the renowned RL Studios. She is constantly working on honing her skills as an actress and creating short films. The Hollywood legend, Richard Lawson, stated that Joy is ”An amazing filmmaker.” As a young Black girl, Joy loves to redefine what figures in the world of Talk and Entertainment look like.
