FOX Searchlight Pictures Presents: All New Fall Previews!

With the start of school, the falling leaves, and cooler weather, also comes new movies from studios like Fox Searchlight. They have new offerings coming to theaters just in time give you a reason to come into the warmth for a few hours.

The Old Man and the Gun

This is my most anticipated preview of all! Based on the true story of Forrest Tucker, Academy Award winner Robert Redford plays a man who escapes from prison at 70. He gets out clean, only to end up conducting the same heists that landed him inside. Tucker charms his way through a string of robberies. He even meets a sweet companion who falls in love with the thief in spite of his unprecedented profession. This is a must-see that comes out September 28th!  


Can You Ever Forgive Me?

Calling all writers… This is one you can’t miss. A once best selling celebrity biographer suddenly finds herself in the middle of a market drought for her particular writing skill set. She comes across an intimate signed letter by a famous writer, and when she figures out how much these letters can be worth she gives buyers a run for their money. Melissa McCarthy is Lee Israel, celebrity biographer and literary signed embellisher extraordinaire. October 19th.

The Favourite

Set in 18th Century England. England is at war with the French and Queen Anne (Olivia Coleman) is ill. Her closest friend and confidant Lady Sarah (Rachel Weisz) is not only caring for her but also handling political business as well in her place. When a new servant by the name of Abigail comes and shakes things up a bit. Abigail is on a personal mission to ensure her ambitions are met and charming the Queen’s right hand, Lady Sarah definitely pushes her envelope. This is a full-fledged girl power film set in a time when being a woman only meant something if you were Queen. Ladies we can’t afford miss this tea party, November 23rd!
