In Sinners, the latest psychological horror film from Warner Bros., the real terror isn’t lurking in the shadows—it’s in the baggage you thought you left behind.
Directed by visionary filmmaker Ryan Coogler (Black Panther, Fruitvale Station) and led by longtime collaborator Michael B. Jordan, Sinners tells the story of twin brothers trying to outrun their past, only to find that evil has been patiently waiting for their return. Equal parts intimate character study and chilling supernatural thriller, the film explores what happens when guilt, grief, and unresolved trauma are given room to grow.
BGN sat down with Coogler, Jordan, and the powerhouse ensemble cast, including Hailee Steinfeld, Delroy Lindo, Li Jun Li, Omar Benson Miller, and breakout star Miles Caton, to talk about horror with heart, the complexity of second chances, and why Sinners is more than your average fright fest.
