Drop is an upcoming high-concept thriller from Universal Pictures, the film stars Meghann Fahy as Violet, a widowed mother who goes on a first date with Henry (Brandon Sklenar). However, their night takes a sinister turn when Violet starts receiving threatening messages from an anonymous figure who demands she follow instructions — or risk the lives of her loved ones. The torment escalates, culminating in the ultimate demand: she must kill Henry.
Directed by Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day, Freaky), Drop blends thriller and horror elements, featuring a screenplay by Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach. The film is produced by Jason Blum’s Blumhouse and Michael Bay’s Platinum Dunes, promising an intense and suspenseful ride.
