The Life of Chuck is an upcoming film adaptation of a short story by Stephen King, from his 2020 collection If It Bleeds. The story is divided into three acts told in reverse chronological order, tracing the life—and strange legacy—of a man named Chuck Krantz. It’s less horror and more meditative and emotional than much of King’s usual work, exploring themes like mortality, memory, and the beauty of ordinary life.
