Get ready to celebrate the women changing the game in geek culture and beyond. Shero Comics is bringing back SheroCon for its fourth year, returning on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Valley Relics Museum in Van Nuys, California.
Founded by award-winning entrepreneur, filmmaker, and comic book creator Shequeta L. Smith, SheroCon was created to spotlight the trailblazing women making their mark across comics, film, gaming, manga/anime, and emerging creative technologies. The annual event not only honors their achievements but also introduces attendees to the many career paths available within these industries.
SheroCon was created to celebrate the incredible women shaping our culture and to give young people the opportunity to meet the professionals behind the movies, games, comics, and technology they love,” said Smith, Founder and CEO of Shero Comics. “Whether you’re a creator, a fan, a parent, or simply someone who loves seeing women succeed, SheroCon is for you.”
The free, family-friendly event promises a full day of engaging panels, cosplay, networking opportunities, creator showcases, and interactive experiences. Attendees are encouraged to channel their favorite heroines and fandom icons by participating in the “Your Favorite Shero” Cosplay Contest.
Whether you’re an aspiring creative, a longtime fan, or simply looking for an inspiring community event, SheroCon continues to be a space where women in pop culture are celebrated, amplified, and empowered.
